The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamper scores with a leg kick.
Hamper keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Hamper darts in and clinches Men up against the cage.
Men could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Hamper lands a takedown into guard.
Hamper postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hamper looking to sit in guard and control but Men gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Men stopping the sweep attempt from Hamper.
Men trying to control the position from guard on top but Hamper is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Men throwing strikes but missing.
Men stands and throws Hamper's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Men works to advance to full mount. Hamper defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Hamper is squirming around, avoiding Men's attempts to control the action.
Hamper takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Hamper keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hamper wants to hold on but Men pushes him away.
Hamper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Men. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Men looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Men postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hamper looks a forlorn figure.
Men controlling the pace for now.
Men is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Men looking to secure an arm triangle but Hamper defends it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Men can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hamper is looking to escape.

Hamper wants to hold on but Men pushes him away.
Hamper is in a horrible position here. Men smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Men throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Hamper has his hands clasped together but Men breaks the hold and Hamper is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Men!
