Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Gonawyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond Flannery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flannery is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping Up To Boston. King Gonawyn looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flannery bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Flannery tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Flannery has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Flannery has an Americana. Gonawyn didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Flannery is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Flannery hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Desmond Flannery!
After winning the bout, Desmond Flannery thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
