The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bute throws a right hand that Avalon ducks under and follows up with a left that Avalon also avoids with ease.
An attempted straight right counter from Avalon misses the target.
Bute throws a left and a right that both miss
and Avalon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bute falls off balance throwing a combination
and Avalon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Bute is rocked!
Bute lands a jab-cross combination.

Avalon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bute, pushing him back against the cage.
Avalon working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Avalon manages to break the clinch.
Avalon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Avalon has taken the fight to the clinch.

Bute escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Avalon pushes Bute up against the cage in a clinch.

Avalon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bute slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Avalon takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Avalon is looking to score with low kicks.

Avalon rushes Bute and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Avalon darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Bute gets tackled into the cage by Avalon. Avalon maintains the clinch.
Avalon lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bute backwards.
Bute is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Avalon to keep the fight standing.

Bute swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Bute manages to break the clinch.
Bute throws a right and a left that both miss.

Oooooh!!! Avalon has knocked Bute down with a huge combo! Avalon steps away and waves a wobbly Bute back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Bute is still on wobbly legs! Can Avalon finish him?

Avalon lands a big uppercut and Bute crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bute looks OK. Avalon waves Bute back to his feet!
Bute swings away with a body shot that misses
and Avalon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Avalon has closed the distance and engaged Bute in a clinch.

Bute breaks the clinch.
Avalon fakes the body blow, causing Bute to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Bute goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
