Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Skog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden comes into the arena with The Dust Brothers - This Is Your Life blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skog swinging wildly here.
Skog looks to score with a jab to the body but Durden is just out of range.
Skog thumps Durden with a low kick.
Skog displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Durden throws out the jab.
Skog thows a leg kick but Durden checks it
and Durden counters with a lovely straight right hand!

A quick step to the side and Durden tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

My spies in Hunter MMA inform me that Skog has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

That was a close round but I would say that Tyler Durden will probably get the nod.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Durden tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Skog was well out of range. Poor timing from Durden.

Durden takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

I really don't envy Durden right now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Durden is covering up but some of the strikes from Skog are getting through and doing damage.

Well Skog has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
