Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darrel Delaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Wilder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Darrel Delaney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexander Wilder!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilder leaves Delaney with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
An inside leg kick from Wilder misses.
Wilder tries to close the distance and clinch up but Delaney swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Delaney throws a head kick but Wilder moves out of range.
Delaney takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Delaney shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wilder pinned against the cage. Wilder gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wilder closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Delaney did well to prevent Wilder getting side control.

Delaney is refusing to be controlled, as Wilder sits in half guard.

Delaney really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Wilder looking to score a takedown here. Delaney is defending well but Wilder drives through and ends up in Delaney's guard.

Delaney takes a little break here. Wilder wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

A close round but Alexander Wilder will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Delaney is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Delaney seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wilder for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Delaney is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wilder can do to turn this around?

Delaney throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wilder was covering up waiting for the punch and Delaney finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Delaney misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Delaney lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Wilder down.
Wilder tries to improve position but can't.

Darrel Delaney dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Wilder throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Delaney tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wilder is in Delaney's guard.

Delaney lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Delaney accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wilder has his foot on Delaney's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Delaney works his way back into a safe position though.

Delaney will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Wilder is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Delaney seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Alexander Wilder comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Wilder has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
