Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Kavanagh and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slater swats away the attempt to clinch by Goat.
Goat tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slater paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Slater closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Slater lands in his opponent's guard.
Goat wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Slater manages to pass to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slater slips a nice elbow through Goat's hands, connecting with Goat's forehead.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
