The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coles ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Coles throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Coles moves into the clinch successfully.
Coles lands a shot to the body.
Hampton fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Coles stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Hampton looks winded!
A quick uppercut on the inside from Coles.

Coles is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Coles scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Hampton is rocked!

Coles doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Coles drops Hampton with a big right hand! Coles charges in looking to finish - Hampton manages to keep Coles in his guard and seems to have recovered somewhat.
Hampton is still in real trouble! Can Coles finish him?
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
