Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Wick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baruch Yehuda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wick moves in looking to clinch but Yehuda pushes him off.
Wick misses with a few strikes there.
It seemed like Yehuda was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Yehuda looks to throw the jab but Wick is out of range.
Yehuda swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Yehuda throws a series of punches but Wick moves out of range.
Wick throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yehuda scores with a nice strike.
Wick fails with an attempt to clinch.
Yehuda now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Wick takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Wick connects with a single shot there.

That kick from Wick tenderised Yehuda's leg. Yehuda is trying to keep his angry face on.
Yehuda rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wick moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Yehuda swings wildly with an uppercut but Wick uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've been hearing good reports from Wick's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Yehuda is looking to stand up but Wick won't let him.

Yehuda must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wick manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Yehuda manages to get himself to full guard.

Wick is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Wick is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Yehuda sees it coming and defends easily.
Yehuda wants to control but Wick is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wick has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Yehuda is controlling Wick's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Wick is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Yehuda has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wick is working away from the top position though.
