Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathaniel Razna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nathaniel Razna looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nathaniel Razna!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooh!!! Austin has knocked Razna down with a huge combo! Austin steps away and waves a wobbly Razna back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Nathaniel Razna has been cut.
Austin shoots and misses
and Razna counters with a nice uppercut.

Austin closes the distance and clinches.
Austin lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.


Razna is rocked!
Austin stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Austin ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Austin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Razna has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Buch's Cardio Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Austin has his foot on Razna's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Razna works his way back into a safe position though.

Austin feints and as Razna raises his hands in defense, Austin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Austin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Razna's head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Austin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Razna keeping moving, preventing Austin from controlling successfully.
Austin is looking to work some ground and pound but Razna has wrist control.
Austin is looking to advance position but Razna has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Austin throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Razna goes for a double leg but Austin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Austin continues to drive forward.
It looked like Austin was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Razna tries to keep at a distance but Austin has taken the fight into the clinch.
Austin gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Razna.
Razna tries to break free but Austin pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Austin is looking to take this one to the mat.
Razna is breathing heavily.
Austin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Razna pulls his leg out and moves away.

Razna shoots in for a takedown but Austin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Austin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Razna tries to pull guard but Austin holds him up against the cage and eventually Razna drops back down to his feet.
Austin lands a body shot.

Austin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Austin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Austin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Razna defends it well.

Razna is pressing down on Austin's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Austin wants to get up but he can't break Razna's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Razna has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Austin after a bit of a struggle.

Austin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Razna moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Austin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Austin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Austin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Austin winds up and cracks Razna with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Austin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Razna can do to turn this around?

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Austin is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Razna as he works his way to full guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Razna gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Austin to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Austin lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Austin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Razna on the ground.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Austin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Razna takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Razna is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Austin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Razna's head.
Austin lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Austin postures up and lands a big shot to Razna's brow.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Austin's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Razna is still in real trouble! Can Austin finish him?

Austin drops back looking for a leg! Razna is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Razna manages to kick Austin off! Austin jumps back into Razna's guard.
Razna seems to have recovered his senses.

Austin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Austin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Austin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Austin has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Razna clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Austin is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Razna up.

Austin is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Razna has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Austin is hanging on to Razna's back as he tries to escape.

Austin is persistently looking for the submission but Razna is defending it well.
Steve Austin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Razna breaks Austin's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Austin is trying to control the position but Razna postures up.
Austin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Razna is one step ahead there.
Razna landing with the ground and pound.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Austin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Well Austin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
