Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Maximus Meridius!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ozamataz Buckshank!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buckshank scores with a punch to the head.
Meridius shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Buckshank as he avoids it easily.
Meridius moves forwards but Buckshank connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Buckshank lands an overhand right.
Meridius tries to clinch up but Buckshank circles away and keeps his distance.
Buckshank digs a good body shot into Meridius's ribs.
Meridius takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Meridius has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Buckshank finds it's way round the side to connect with Meridius's head.
Buckshank dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Meridius gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Buckshank counters with a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Buckshank lands with a thumping leg kick.

Buckshank sizes up Meridius with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Buckshank lands a lovely overhand right.
Buckshank lands a really nice looking cross but Meridius seems unphased.
Buckshank is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Meridius had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Buckshank slaps away a takedown attempt from Meridius, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maximus Meridius. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Meridius shoots in and drives through. Buckshank sprawls well.
Buckshank has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Buckshank throws out a powerful jab.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Buckshank. Meridius shrugs it off though.
Buckshank has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Buckshank uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Meridius has time to react.


Meridius is rocked!
Buckshank wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Meridius is breathing heavily.
Meridius walks into a left hand.
Oh Meridius is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Meridius has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Buckshank.
Meridius seems to have got his legs back now.
Ozamataz Buckshank is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Buckshank is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Buckshank cracks Meridius with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Meridius looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Buckshank finish him?
