Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Peter McBain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, I Know Wrestling!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBain throws a right and a left that both miss.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wrestling has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
McBain misses with a wild body shot.

Wrestling closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wrestling working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
McBain is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wrestling has just dragged him back down to the mat.
McBain really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wrestling throws a strike aimed at the side of McBain's head but McBain avoids it well.

Wrestling throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and McBain works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

McBain has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Wrestling is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Wrestling closes the distance and clinches up with McBain, looking for a takedown. Wrestling pushes McBain against the cage but McBain circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
McBain darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McBain lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by McBain.


It looks like I Know Wrestling has been cut.

McBain lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
McBain lands with a hook. Wrestling tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
McBain lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
I Know Wrestling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wrestling shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McBain's guard.

McBain has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Wrestling has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Horrible takedown attempt by Wrestling or perhaps it was just good defense by McBain, which made it look bad.
