Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vasya Boar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bas Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boar comes into the arena with Fallback blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Vasya Boar has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rutten circles away.
Boar misses with a double jab
and Rutten counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Vasya Boar has been cut.
A swing and a miss from Rutten.
Rutten connects with a high kick.
Boar shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Rutten has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Boar is on him like a limpet, forcing Rutten back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Boar manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Rutten pulls guard effortlessly.
Boar stands up from Rutten's guard - Boar perhaps looking for a knockout.
Boar throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Rutten fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boar avoids it really well and circles away.
Rutten will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Boar decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Boar closes the distance and clinches.

Rutten is looking to take this one to the mat.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Boar swings wildly with an uppercut but Rutten uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rutten has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Boar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Boar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rutten sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boar somewhat.
