The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from DidisisM. No joy for Vivian on that attempt.
Vivian shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with DidisisM but DidisisM pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kieta Vivian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DidisisM shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vivian pinned against the cage. Vivian gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Vivian manages to get an easy takedown there - catching DidisisM on his heels. He'll look to pass DidisisM's guard now, I'm sure.
DidisisM looking for a sweep. Not yet DidisisM, not yet.

Vivian drops back looking for a leg! DidisisM is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and DidisisM manages to kick Vivian off! Vivian jumps back into DidisisM's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vivian wants to pass the guard but DidisisM is keeping the position.
DidisisM tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Vivian pushing down on DidisisM's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

DidisisM pushes Vivian off and gets back to his feet.

Vivian changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. DidisisM looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Vivian has hold of DidisisM's arm. He's looking for a kimura. DidisisM seems comfortable defending it but Vivian has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! DidisisM is real pain and he's forced to tap out! DidisisM is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Vivian couldn't care less - he's delighted!
