Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Body Head Bangerz feat. Lil' Boosie & Young Bleed - I Smoke, I Drank. Magn is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Thor - Let the Blood Run Red. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magn moves out of range as Burns strikes.
Magn on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Burns takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Burns seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Burns tries to score a power double leg takedown but Magn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Burns somewhat.

Magn's coach down at You call THAT wrestling?? was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Magn's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Burns throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Burns throws a chopping leg kick but Magn manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Burns has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Magn finds it's way round the side to connect with Burns 's head.

Burns shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Magn is trying to defend but Burns finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Burns is just content to waste time from the top position. Magn takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Burns gets to his feet. Magn looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Burns shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Burns showed some decent athleticism there.

That was a close round but I would say that Alex John Conor Burns will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Magn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Burns manages to avoid it.
Burns lands a nice leg kick that just misses Magn's sensitive parts.

Magn wants to counter the offense by Burns and move into the clinch position.
Einar Magn seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Burns uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Magn has time to react.
Alex John Conor Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Burns lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Magn has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Magn and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Magn moves forwards but Burns connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Burns lands a nice shot that snaps Magn's head back.
Burns is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Burns shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Magn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Burns looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Magn tries to counter with a clinch but Burns shakes him off and moves away.

Burns darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Magn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Magn has a hand on Burns 's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Burns takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Einar Magn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Magn gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Burns tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Magn smiles and moves away.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Magn has control of Burns 's left arm, preventing Burns from doing any damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Burns throws a series of strikes that have Magn backpedaling.
Burns looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Burns avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Magn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Magn tries to close the distance and clinch but Burns swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Magn is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Burns rather than just go for the knockout.

Magn's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Burns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Magn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
