The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bauwens throws a quick inside leg kick.
Decent striking displayed by Bauwens there.
Dex will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bauwens connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dex. Dex circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Dex throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Bauwens counters with a nice uppercut.
Dex takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Bauwens fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dex looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Dex fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dex wants to clinch
and Bauwens counters with a good low kick that Dex was not able to check.
Dex looks winded!
Dex tries to close the distance and clinch but Bauwens swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dex throws a series of punches but Bauwens moves out of range.
Bauwens throws a quick inside leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bauwens cracks Dex with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Bauwens lands with a hook. Dex tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Dex is rocked!
Dex tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dex is still on wobbly legs! Can Bauwens finish him?
Bauwens cracks Dex with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Dex tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Bauwens pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Dex is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
