Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Destin Craven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tolik Diodor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diodor has chosen Ashtmatic as his entrance music. Tolik Diodor has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Craven throws a push kick but Diodor slaps the foot to one side.
Craven is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Diodor.
Diodor takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Diodor unleashes a big counter combination but Craven bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Diodor misses with a takedown attempt - Craven sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Craven scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Craven works to advance to full mount. Diodor defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Diodor is bucking up trying to escape but Craven cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Craven is working for a guillotine from mount but Diodor frees his head quite easily.

Craven has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Craven is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Diodor has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Diodor!

Craven misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jab, jab by Craven - just one landing.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Craven lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Diodor has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Diodor and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Craven is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

Craven has hold of one of Diodor's legs. Diodor is fighting the takedown attempt but Craven gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Craven blocks a head kick by Diodor.
Craven wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Diodor misses with a two punch combination.
Craven moves out of range as Diodor throws a body kick.
Craven ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Diodor moves away.
Diodor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Craven manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Craven scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Diodor is breathing heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Craven misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diodor managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Craven.
Craven connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Diodor some visible discomfort.
The strikes coming from Craven are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Craven is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Diodor is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Craven stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Craven! Diodor is out on his feet! Craven rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Diodor is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Diodor is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

After the fight, Destin Craven was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
