Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Wallace Franco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Clancy!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Franco enables Clancy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Franco manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Franco thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Clancy decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Clancy lands a head kick. Franco smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Wallace Franco has been cut.
Clancy shoots for a takedown but Franco saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Franco is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Clancy.
Clancy throws a head kick but Franco moves out of range.
Franco wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Clancy.

Clancy rushes Franco and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Clancy is trying to drag Franco to the mat but Franco just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Franco successfully pulls guard.
Franco looking to hit a scissor sweep but Clancy is one step ahead there.
Clancy prevents Franco from getting back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clancy sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Clancy gets to his feet - Franco follows without any prompting.
Franco could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Clancy throws a sloppy head kick

and Franco moves into the clinch.

Clancy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Franco tries to close the distance and clinch up but Clancy swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A jab-cross combination lands for Clancy and sends Franco crashing to the mat! Clancy follows him down to the mat - Franco regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!


Franco is rocked!
Clancy controlling the action here.
Oh Franco is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Clancy lands a big elbow - Franco is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Clancy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luke Clancy!
A very excited looking Luke Clancy made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
