Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Rockin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JB Brubaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brubaker has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Robbie Rockin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brubaker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rockin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Rockin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Rockin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

enabling Brubaker to counter with a crisp jab.
Rockin takes a swing at Brubaker's ribcage but misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brubaker, as that shot connected.
Rockin throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Good leg kick by Brubaker there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Rockin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brubakers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Brubaker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rockin.

Rockin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Brubaker has time to react.

Brubaker thows a body kick. Rockin tries to catch it but that hurt him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brubaker is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Rockin had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Rockin tries to land a front kick but Brubaker steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rockin cracks Brubaker with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Brubaker falls to his knees and Rockin doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
