Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marlon Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Khaled (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Khaled enables Drake to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Khaled manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Khaled pushes Drake off and scrambles back to his feet.
Drake really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Drake tries for a takedown but Khaled sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Khaled throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
No joy there for Khaled, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Khaled tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Drake attempts a counter takedown but Khaled avoids it well and moves away.

and Khaled counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Marlon Drake has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Khaled lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Drake at a distance.
Khaled misses with a hook to the body
and Drake counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Khaled is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Khaled connects with a body shot that sends Drake's belly button to the back.
Khaled swings for the body but Drake moves out of range.
Drake wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Khaled throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Drake avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
As Khaled looks to move away, Drake throws a big counter combo but Khaled just gets out of the way.

Drake attempts a counter takedown but Khaled avoids it well and moves away.
DJ Khaled seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khaled throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Drake was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Khaled lands a nice looking kick to the body. Drake takes a step back to recover.
Khaled throws a sloppy head kick and Drake moves out of range easily.

and Drake counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Drake avoids a punch combination nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Khaled rushes Drake with punches - Drake moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Drake goes down! Khaled follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
