Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between CP Munk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Heras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, CP Munk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lance Heras!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Heras crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Munk - the referee stops the clock and Heras gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Munk. Heras manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Munk shoots in but no luck this time.

Munk has been working on his balance at Cozad MMA Tokyo, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Heras.
Heras goes for a double leg but Munk avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Munk continues to drive forward.

Munk feints a jab promting Heras to slip. Munk then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Heras slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
