Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evgeniy Malkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimo Ovaska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malkin comes to the cage accompanied by The Heavy - How You Like Me Now?. Ovaska has chosen Big Balls by AC/DC as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malkin lands a jab to the head.

Ovaska fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Malkin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Malkin thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ovaska swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ovaska misses the jab.
Ovaska throws a looping overhand right but Malkin ducks down to avoid it.
Malkin tries to bum rush Ovaska with a series of wild strikes but Ovaska uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Malkin gets a takedown into half guard.
Ovaska tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Malkin manages to move to mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ovaska stops Malkin from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Malkin moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ovaska has worked his arm free - good work by Ovaska!
Malkin tries for a kimura but Ovaska is defending well.
Malkin wants to control but Ovaska is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Malkin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ovaska knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Malkin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ovaska keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Malkin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ovaska defends it well.
Malkin is working for a kimura but Ovaska is defending it quite comfortably.
Malkin is keen to just control but Ovaska is a slippery customer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Malkin walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ovaska checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Ovaska throws a jab when Malkin was well out of range.
Ovaska tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ovaska is looking to land body kicks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Evgeniy Malkin will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Malkin throws a leg kick but Ovaska moved away.
Ovaska blocks a head kick by Malkin.
Left hook, right uppercut from Ovaska.
Malkin wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Malkin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ovaska is not content to let Malkin control the position.
Evgeniy Malkin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Malkin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Malkin goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ovaska rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Malkin's guard! Nice work there by Ovaska!

Ovaska got a little sloppy there for a moment and Malkin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ovaska has managed to get both his arms back between Malkin's legs - danger averted.

Malkin has a hand on Ovaska's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Ovaska takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kimo Ovaska showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Malkin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Ovaska throws a lazy right hand but Malkin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Malkin connects with a solid leg kick.

Malkin feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ovaska's calf.
Ovaska fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Malkin manages to avoid it.

Ovaska moves out of range as Malkin throws a body kick.
Ovaska looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Malkin tests Ovaska's chin there with a solid looking shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ovaska cracks Malkin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Ovaska takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ovaska connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Malkin's hands.
Malkin is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Ovaska Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Malkin is out cold, face down on the mat!

A very excited looking Kimo Ovaska made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
