Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Orval Sellers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ario Kuramoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Orval Sellers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ario Kuramoto!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuramoto takes a kick to the side of the head.

Kuramoto fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sellers, pushing him back against the cage.

Sellers has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kuramoto regains guard immediately.

Sellers wants to control from the top but Kuramoto keeps moving.
Kuramoto can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sellers controls the pace.
Kuramoto wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sellers's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Sellers would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Sellers is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kuramoto wants to improve his position but Sellers is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kuramoto tries to kick Sellers off in order to stand up. Sellers Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Kuramoto is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kuramoto is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Sellers is staying active.
Kuramoto is looking for a sweep. Sellers is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Kuramoto manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Sellers controls from within his opponent's guard.

Kuramoto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sellers sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kuramoto somewhat.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kuramoto.
Kuramoto looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sellers has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuramoto tries for a takedown but Sellers sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kuramoto closes the distance and pushes Sellers back into the cage.

Kuramoto darts in and clinches Sellers up against the cage.
Sellers on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Sellers tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kuramoto's elbow.

Kuramoto won't allow Sellers to get back to his feet.

Sellers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kuramoto's guard.

Orval Sellers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sellers has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kuramoto is proving hard to escape from.

Sellers trying to control but Kuramoto is working from the bottom.
Kuramoto looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sellers is one step ahead there.
Sellers slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Kuramoto shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sellers pinned against the cage. Sellers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
As Kuramoto looks to move away, Sellers throws a big counter combo but Kuramoto just gets out of the way.

Kuramoto shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sellers sprawls well. Sellers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kuramoto gets slowly back to his feet.

It looked like Sellers was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Sellers is pressed up against the cage. Kuramoto has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sellers down to the mat. Sellers avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Sellers keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Kuramoto moves into the clinch successfully.

Sellers drags the fight down to the ground.
Sellers wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kuramoto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sellers lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sellers, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
