Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vanilla Isis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Champ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Champ jabs Isis right on the nose. Isis blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Vanilla Isis has been cut.
Champ throws a series of punches but Isis avoids them all with ease.
Champ's coach down at Raven's strike MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Champ's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

It seemed like Champ was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Champ might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
