Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Maverick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pettis comes to the cage accompanied by Dami Mong Alam - Skusta Clee ft. Flip D. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettis throws a head kick that misses
and Maverick counters with a left to the body.
A good leg kick by Maverick.
Pettis misses with a double jab.
Maverick throws a fast counter high kick but Pettis manages to duck under it in time.

Maverick fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Pettis to the ground. Maverick is now in Pettis's guard.
Maverick controls from within his opponent's guard.
Pettis working a defensive guard but Maverick manages to pass into side control anyway.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maverick in side control lands a decent elbow.
Maverick lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Pettis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maverick on the ground.
Pettis is working to avoid the ground and pound but Maverick connects with a decent elbow.

Maverick tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Maverick has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
