Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bateman comes to the cage accompanied by Huey Lewis and The News - Hip To Be Square. The crowd seem to be enjoying Torres's choice of entrance music: Lie, Cheat, & Steal. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bateman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bateman slips a straight right by Torres.
Torres takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bateman just misses with a punch to the body.
Bateman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Torres lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bateman's sensitive parts.
Torres takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Bateman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Torres.

Bateman throws a lazy right hand but Torres sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

We've been informed that Torres has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Torres drops Bateman onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Bateman is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Bateman is rocked!
Torres dips a shoulder and cracks Bateman with a mighty uppercut! Bateman falls back against the cage and Torres unloads with a barrage of strikes! Bateman is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Torres screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luis Torres!
Luis Torres bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
