Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Murray Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Palahnuik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palahnuik has chosen Machine Civilization as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

No joy there for Palahnuik, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jackson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Jackson lands a nice hook to Palahnuik's body. Palahnuik takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Palahnuik manages to avoid it.
Jackson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Palahnuiks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Palahnuik does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jackson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Palahnuik has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jackson checks a leg kick.
A little feinted left hand from Jackson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Palahnuik keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Jackson counters with a crisp one two that drops Palahnuik! Jackson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Palahnuik to his feet! Palahnuik is in big trouble!

Palahnuik misses with an uppercut.
Palahnuik is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?

Palahnuik throws a leg kick
and Jackson counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Palahnuik badly! He tries to strike back but Jackson puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Palahnuik out cold! Oh man, Palahnuik will never hear the end of this one!

Murray Jackson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
