The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avalon misses with a two punch combination.

Richmond closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Avalon did well to prevent Richmond getting side control.

Avalon manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Richmond keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Richmond jumps guard but Avalon stands there with Richmond around his waist. Richmond gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Richmond tries to clinch up but Avalon pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Richmond to the mat! Richmond covers up and Avalon unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
