Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rock Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rinov Alic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Allen falls off balance throwing a combination
and Alic counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Allen tries to land a body kick
and Alic counters with a straight right hand.
Allen shoots in for a takedown but Alic shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Allen shoots in for a double leg but Alic sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Alic takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Allen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Alic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Rock Allen has been cut.
Allen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Alic counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Allen throws a hook but Alic blocks it.

Allen tries to sprawl but Alic drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Alic is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Allen has hold of Alic's hands but Alic slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Alic seems to be working for a kimura but Allen defends the submission attempt.
Alic missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Well, if Alic is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Alic decides to stand up.
Danga de danga de dang - Allen scores with a four punch combination!

Alic moves into the clinch successfully.
Allen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Alic smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rock Allen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown attempt by Allen or perhaps it was just good defense by Alic, which made it look bad.
Alic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Allen walks into a left hand.
Alic keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Alic looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Allen throws a lazy head kick
letting Alic counter with a right hand.
Alic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Alic scores with the left hand. Allen knows he should have avoided that one.
Alic lands a nice shot that snaps Allen's head back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Allen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Allen tries a head kick but it misses.
Alic looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Alic uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Allen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Alic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Alic jabs Allen right on the nose. Allen blinks but takes it well.

Allen is rocked!

Alic turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Alic tries a quick counter leg kick but Allen is wise to it.
Alic scores with a decent looking hook.
Oh Allen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alic pounces like a tiger and cracks Allen with a vicious hook! Allen is down but not out! Alic follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
