The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connemara cracks a nice hook into Hoi's ribs.
Connemara lunges at Hoi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hoi's hand.
Hoi slips a jab from Connemara.
A telegraphed right hand from Connemara misses the target.
Hoi misses the jab.
That kick from Connemara tenderised Hoi's leg. Hoi is trying to keep his angry face on.
Connemara misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
It looked like Hoi wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Connemara throws a quick inside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hoi ducks under a wild hook from Connemara.
Hoi was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Hoi misses with a hook to the body
and Connemara connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Connemara lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A right-left combo lands from Hoi.
It looks like Jameson Connemara has been cut.
Connemara blocks a head kick by Hoi.
Connemara swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Hoi ducks under a wild hook from Connemara.
Hoi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A thudding body kick lands there by Connemara!
Connemara has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Connemara jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hoi appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Connemara darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Connemara lands a jab.
Hoi is rocked!

Hoi moves out of range of the body kick.
Oh Hoi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Connemara pounces like a tiger and cracks Hoi with a vicious hook! Hoi is down but not out! Connemara follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jameson Connemara!
