Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kendrik Down (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clayton Channings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Down comes to the cage accompanied by Let's Go. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Down misses.
Down tries to close the distance and clinch up but Channings swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Channings is defended easily by Down.

Channings looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Down got a little sloppy there for a moment and Channings has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Down has managed to get both his arms back between Channings's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
