The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dub catches Brophy with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Dub swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dub fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brophy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dub has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dub and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Brophy tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Dub manages to circle out of the way.
We've been informed that Dub has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Nice straight punches there by Brophy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Brophy.
