The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parker closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Perfect to the mat! Perfect manages to get full guard.

Parker takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Perfect changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Parker fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Perfect missing with a left hand there. Parker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Parker is on top in guard.

Parker felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
