PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anders Annorlunda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rip Snorten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Annorlunda comes to the cage accompanied by Devils Dance Floor. Snorten has chosen Learn to fly as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Snorten sneaks out the side door and pushes Annorlunda away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
A bone on bone clash there as Snorten blocks the leg kick.
Snorten dives in for a single leg takedown but Annorlunda sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Snorten misses with a hook. Annorlunda ducked under it nicely.
Snorten throws a lazy right hand but Annorlunda sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Snorten felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Annorlunda closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Snorten to the mat! Snorten manages to get full guard.

Snorten looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Annorlunda with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well Snorten has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
