Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones connects with a jab.
Ferdinand looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Jones has closed the distance and engaged Ferdinand in a clinch.
Ferdinand drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jones misses with an elbow strike.
Jones gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Ferdinand avoids a wild elbow strike from Jones.
Our sources have told us that Ferdinand has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Jones lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Jones is pressed up against the cage. Ferdinand has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jones down to the mat. Jones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ferdinand shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.

Jones takes the fight into the clinch.

Ferdinand drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jones gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones stuns Ferdinand with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jones closes the distance and clinches.
Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jones lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Franz Ferdinand has been cut.
Jones instigates a clinch.

Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jones creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ferdinand's defenses.
Ferdinand is rocked!

Ferdinand blocks the elbow strike.
Jones lands a big right hand that drops Ferdinand! The killer instinct kicks in and Jones finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Jones!
