Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Pott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pott comes to the cage accompanied by I Luv It. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roger Pott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Donald Evans!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans is looking to clinch.
It looked like Pott wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Evans has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Evans walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Evans moves in looking to clinch but Pott pushes him off.
Evans throws a left and a right that both miss
and Pott counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Evans thinking.
Evans tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pott manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pott lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Evans backs up against the cage.

Evans moves into the clinch successfully.

Evans wants the takedown. Pott is fighting it off but Evans persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Pott's guard against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pott controls Evans momentarily but Evans frees himself.
Pott wants to get back to his feet but Evans passes into half guard.
Pott wants to control but Evans is keeping busy.

Evans wants to work for an arm triangle but Pott is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pott is trying to maintain the position but Evans is very close to passing his half guard.

Evans seems to be working for a kimura but Pott defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Evans keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Pott is trying to stand up here but Evans is controlling him well.

Evans in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Pott tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Evans!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Donald Evans!
Donald Evans decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
