Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Victor Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Enkamp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel's entrance music is "Thunderstruck" -AC/DC. A fine choice. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel throws a poor cross that misses
and Enkamp counters with an inside leg kick.
Steel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Enkamp counters with a thumping low kick.
Enkamp bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Steel shoots and misses
and Enkamp counters with a nice leg kick.
Steel throws a sloppy body shot
and Enkamp counters with a thumping low kick.
Steel shoots in for a takedown but Enkamp shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Enkamp replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Steel blocks it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Enkamp throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Victor Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Steel changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Enkamp looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Steel is looking to take a break and control but Enkamp is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Enkamp is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Steel has just dragged him back down to the mat.
We've been hearing good reports from Steel's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Steel tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Steel has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Steel works to advance to full mount. Enkamp defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Steel misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Enkamp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Steel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Enkamp is squirming around, avoiding Steel's attempts to control the action.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Enkamp can do anything to dispel that myth.
Steel sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
