Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akeen Coker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and De Bruyne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bruyne's choice of entrance music: Busta Rhymes - Other Side Of The Road . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akeen Coker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, De Bruyne!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruyne avoids the head kick by Coker.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bruyne lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Coker has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Coker and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bruyne's coach down at K.O.N.Y. was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bruyne's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Coker bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Bruyne is fighting to break Coker's control of his arms but Coker is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
