Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Von Goat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowman is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dropkick Murphys - Warriors Code. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goat tries to clinch but Bowman moves out of range.
Goat fails in his attempt to clinch.
Von Goat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bowman now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Goat tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Bowman counters with a good, hard body kick but Goat shrugs it off.
Bowman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Goat wants to clinch up but Bowman keeps it at a distance.
Goat fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bowman lands a nice hook to Goat's body. Goat takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Goat throws a body shot but no joy.
Goat tries to clinch but Bowman moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Goat chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bowman can pounce on him.
Goat sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Goat tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Bowman manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Goat on his heels. He'll look to pass Goat's guard now, I'm sure.
Bowman is standing up over Goat. Goat looks to escape but Bowman dives into side control.

Bowman stands up.

Bowman rushes Goat and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Goat throws an elbow that misses.
Bowman blocks an elbow strike from Goat.

Bowman breaks the clinch.
Bowman works the jab nicely.
Bowman delivers a nice body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Bowman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Goat wants to clinch but Bowman slips to the side

and Bowman counters with a crisp one two that drops Goat! Bowman thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Goat to his feet! Goat is in big trouble!

Goat doesn't manage to clinch there - Bowman circles away.
Goat tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bowman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Goat tries to clinch but Bowman moves out of range.
A left lands for Bowman.
Bowman throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Goat is rocked!

Bowman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bowman lands in his opponent's guard.
Oh Goat is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Goat wants to stand and escape but Bowman is having none of it.
Goat seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goat is looking to stand back up but Bowman counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Goat.
Goat looks like he's trying to stand up.

Bowman is trying for a kimura here. Goat looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Bowman wins by kimura!
