Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Salvatore Giuliano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Taylor told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tommy Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giuliano scores with a takedown into Taylor's guard.

Taylor told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Giuliano got a little sloppy there for a moment and Taylor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Giuliano has managed to get both his arms back between Taylor's legs - danger averted.

Giuliano stands up over Taylor, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Taylor is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Giuliano defends well.

Taylor has his foot on Giuliano's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Giuliano works his way back into a safe position though.

Giuliano arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Taylor's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
