Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Killer!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raban will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Raban is trying hard to land a takedown here. Killer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

It looks like James Raban has been cut.

We've been informed that Killer has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Killer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Raban sprawling to the canvas! Raban rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Killer finish him?!

Killer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Killer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Raban swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Raban has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Killer is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Killer. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
