Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eoin Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kasak Kusuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kasak Kusuk will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eoin Greene!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Kasak Kusuk!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kusuk looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Greene fails with an attempt to clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Greene.
Kusuk throws a nice outside leg kick.
Greene with a lazy takedown attempt
and Kusuk makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kusuk has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Greene has his takedown stuffed
and Kusuk cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Greene goes for a double leg but Kusuk avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kusuk continues to drive forward.

Horrible takedown attempt by Greene or perhaps it was just good defense by Kusuk, which made it look bad.

Greene definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Greene takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Greene slips a nice elbow through Kusuk's hands, connecting with Kusuk's forehead.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Greene connects with a nice short shot to Kusuk's temple.

Greene is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kusuk sees it coming and defends easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kusuk can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kusuk is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Greene is aware though and is defending well.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Kusuk regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Greene.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Greene accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kusuk has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Greene can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kusuk has momentary wrist control but Greene slips an elbow through the middle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Kasak Kusuk will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kusuk cracks a nice hook into Greene's ribs.
Greene really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Oh Greene is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kusuk stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kusuk wants it to stay on the feet.
Kusuk lands with a kick to the ribs.
A jab from Kusuk finds it's way through Greene's defenses.
Kusuk connects with an inside leg kick.
Kusuk throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Greene.
Greene gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Kusuk gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kasak Kusuk!
Our winner, Kasak Kusuk, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
