The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King slips a jab and a cross from Darrow.
King looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Darrow closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

King is looking to break free of the clinch but Darrow has double underhooks.
A nice left hand lands by Darrow.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Darrow creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Darrow tries to work over King's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Darrow lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Darrow has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Darrow cracks King with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends King tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Darrow pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! King is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
