The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyde moves forwards but Skinner connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hyde throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Skinner on the side of the head.
Skinner misses with a lunging right hand
and Hyde makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Skinner misses the jab.
Hyde tries to work over Skinner's front leg with a kick but Skinner checks it.
Hyde connects with a body shot.
Skinner on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Skinner fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hyde on the side of the head.
Skinner missing with a left hand there. Hyde was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hyde is looking to counter punch.
Skinner swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Skinner misses with a two punch combination.
Skinner throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hyde counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Skinner throws a jab when Hyde was well out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Hyde misses the target.
Hyde throws a hook but Skinner blocks it.
Skinner throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hyde counters with a stiff right hand.
Skinner lands a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Skinner. Hyde does a little dance to reset his feet.
Skinner takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A head kick from Hyde lands but Skinner takes it in his stride.

Skinner is rocked!
Hyde looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Hyde backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Skinner's temple! It sends Skinner violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Hyde celebrates and the doctors try to help Skinner!
