Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jason Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Canijo Enano!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Enano swinging wildly here.
A bone on bone clash there as Enano blocks the leg kick.
Enano fails with the takedown
and Black counters with a low kick, right behind Enano 's knee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Black fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Enano has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Enano shoots in for a takedown but Black shows good takedown defense.
Black appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Enano shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Black pinned against the cage. Black gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Black half committed to a counter leg kick.
Jason Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Canijo Enano.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick by Black misses
and Enano counters with a nice double leg into side control. Black won't be happy with that.
Enano controlling the position from side mount.
Black looking for a sweep but Enano has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Enano stands up from mount. Strange move.
Black misses with a leg kick
and Enano counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Enano should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Black gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Enano.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Black throws a punch but it's blocked by Enano.
Enano tries to score a body lock takedown but Black shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Enano blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Enano is working for takedown but Black is calmly controlling the position for now.
Enano looks winded!
Enano blocking some punches.
Black misses with some punches.
Enano has clasped his hands together around Black's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Black is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Enano's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Enano! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Black has tapped! This one is allllll over!
