And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Reosh!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reosh tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jury defends well and Reosh ends up having to push Jury into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Jury looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jury is stalling in the full guard.
Reosh is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Jury thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Reosh dives in for a single leg takedown but Jury sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Jury shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Reosh is trying to defend but Jury finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Jury has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Reosh is trying to stand.
Jury takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jury seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Reosh for as long as he can get away with.
Jury seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Cory Jury will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Reosh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jury pinned against the cage. Jury gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jury closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Reosh pushes Jury back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Jury is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Reosh gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Reosh wants to get back to striking at distance but Jury won't allow it.
Jury jumps guard but Reosh turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Reosh is looking to clinch but Jury is avoiding it.
Jury appears to be looking for a big counter.

Jury closes the distance and clinches.
Reosh wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Reosh can't get the takedown.

A frustrated look appears on Reosh's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Jury looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jury throws the kick towards the body but Reosh avoids it.
Reosh shoots in but no luck this time.
Reosh tries to close the distance and clinch but Jury swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jury stuffs the takedown attempt from Reosh. Reosh gets slowly back to his feet.
Reosh is breathing heavily.

Jury closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jury breaks from the clinch.

Jury closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Reosh quickly recovers to half guard.

Reosh pushes Jury off and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cory Jury dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Jury shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Reosh napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Jury tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reosh paws at him with a jab and circles away.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Jury.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
You can see the frustration on Reosh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Jury looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Jury controls the position.
Jury continues to hold on tight.
Cory Jury overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Reosh lands a head kick. Jury smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Jury shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reosh but Reosh pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Reosh shoots in but Jury avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jury wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Reosh takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Reosh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Jury gets a double leg takedown into Reosh's guard.
Michael Reosh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Cory Jury is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Reosh has a closed guard, preventing Jury from standing up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Cory Jury showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Jury has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
