Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocket Bob Frankels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Maldonado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frankels comes to the cage accompanied by Dawn....Summer Solstice... . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Maldonado throws a lazy right hand but Frankels sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Frankels has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Maldonado looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Frankels misses with a takedown attempt - Maldonado sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Oooooh!!! Frankels has knocked Maldonado down with a huge combo! Frankels steps away and waves a wobbly Maldonado back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Maldonado throws a lazy uppercut
and Frankels counters with a solid body kick.
Maldonado leaves his chin hanging out and Frankels seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Maldonado crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Rocket Bob Frankels decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
