Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klimov throws a lazy right hand but Spong sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Spong swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Klimov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Spong is looking to slow Klimov down with leg kicks.
Klimov moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Klimov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Spong takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Spong swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Spong gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've been informed that Spong has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Klimov and Spong goes tumbling to the canvas! Klimov follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vova Klimov dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Spong is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Klimov doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Spong crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Spong's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vova Klimov!

Vova Klimov decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
In defeat, Tyrone Spong stepped up to the mic, saying 'This loss will only make me train harder and come back stronger. I promise I'll be back better then ever!'.
