The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Groenveld throws a jab but it's blocked by Tanaka.
Stefan Groenveld seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Groenveld has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Tanaka looks up at the clock. Bad move! Groenveld lands a right hand from hell, dropping Tanaka. Groenveld pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Stefan Groenveld spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
