Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogan Aye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermaine Barksdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barksdale has chosen Ain't No Sunshine- DMX as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aye lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Jab by Aye.
Aye lands with a nice body punch.
Barksdale misses the jab.
Barksdale throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Aye counters with a nice body shot.
Aye throws a leg kick which misses Barksdale's front leg but catches the back leg as Barksdale tries to avoid it.
Aye definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Barksdale tries to clinch but Aye moves away
and Aye counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Aye takes a swing at Barksdale's ribcage but misses.
We've been informed that Barksdale has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Barksdale lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Barksdale is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Aye.
Aye half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice inside leg kick there by Aye. That's going to slow Barksdale down.
Barksdale wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Barksdale misses with a lunging right hand

and Aye makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Aye tries a head kick but it misses.

Aye lands a big right hand that sends Barksdale crashing to the mat! Aye stays standing though and waves Barksdale back to his feet!

Aye displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Barksdale throws out the jab.
Barksdale throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Aye throws a quick head kick that knocks Barksdale silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Aye is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
