The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatti swings for the body but Hoyce moves out of range.
Despite the aggression on Hoyce's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Hoyce lands a big head kick that sends Gatti tumbling to the mat! Hoyce takes a step backwards and waves Gatti back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Gatti is rocked!

It looks like Leonel Gatti has been cut.
Gatti lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hoyce's sensitive parts.
Oh Gatti is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hoyce wants to slow Gatti down by chopping away at his legs.

That kick from Gatti tenderised Hoyce's leg. Hoyce is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gatti uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hoyce has time to react.
Hoyce swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gatti.

Gatti throws a leg kick but Hoyce sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Hoyce takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Hoyce throws a right hand that Gatti ducks under and follows up with a left that Gatti also avoids with ease.
